Guthi a character played by Sunil Grover exited Comedy Nights with Kapil show is in much discussion these days. The channel has asked him not to repeat the Guthi character in any other show as the character belongs to channel. If this character found to be used in any other show the channel has decided to give copyright notice and will take all necessary legal action.
But there is some good news for Sunil Grover fans. Sunil Grover soon will be seen playing female character again in Zee Rishtey Awards. But this time he will not be using Guthi name for this character and also the look of the character will be different than Guthi. Now we can see Sunil playing a role of 50 to 60 years old female character. This is opposite to Guthi’s character who used to be a young Punjabi girl.
The new character name of Sunil is Baldev. Even if it sounds to be a male name, Sunil explain this in his comedy style, “Agar ander ka insaan purush hai to naam bhi wahi hogana”.
We all are excited to watch Sunil again in female role doing comedy, this time the difference is only that the character is different but the person is same. The show will be aired on Zee TV on 2 Dec 2013 at 8 PM.
