Sony Entertainment channel is going to launch it’s new channel Sony pal from 1st September.
Well, after quite a long wait, Multiscreen Media is all set to launch its new GEC offering Sony Pal. Sony Pal will have Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla as the face of the channel
Sony Pal will see nine interesting shows hitting the screens during the launch.
- Sphere Origins’ love story Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne featuring Hasan Zaidi and Barkha Bisht of Muslim backdrop.
- Creative Eye Ltd and Dheeraj Kumar’s folk literary Singhasan Baatisi will see Sayantani Ghosh playing the lead.
- Adaa Khan and Alan Kapoor will be seen in Rashmi Sharma Production’s Piya Basanti Re about a guy who is a football player and his maid’s daughter being his constant support.
- Miloni Pictures’ Ashi will showcase the story of a young girl who will move from her rich family and find happiness and solace in helping the needy.
- Rahul Sharma, Aanshul Trivedi, Preeti Chaudhary along with Amrita Prakash, Priyamvada Kant, Farhina Perwez will be seen in Shashi Sumeet Production Pvt Ltd’ Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi that will focus on the relationship of a guy and his sister-in-laws.
- DJ’s A Creative Unit’s Sister Didi will have Pariva Praniti playing a young widow handling a hospital. Making a comeback to TV will be talented actor Bhanu Uday who has been cast opposite her.
- Balaji Telefilms too will be offering a show for Sony Pal, but details are still in wrap.
Apart from these fiction offerings, there are two weekly nonfiction shows also lined up.
- Jay and Ragini will be seen hosting SOL’s Dil Hain Chotasa Choti Si Asha wherein the two will help women share their inspirational stories and make them win some cash prizes.
- Sakshi will take charge of the reins of a celebrity chat show Simply Baatien which will feature successful women celebrities from TV and Bollywood.
