Sony TV is known for running crime based shows such as CID, Crime Petrol and Adaalat. Now it is launching new show titled Encounter which based on real encounters. Indian Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee is going to host this show.
The theme or concept of the show is inspired from real encounters happened in India, its background, who all were involved in encounter etc.
Manoj Bajpayee is a 44 year old talented actor worked in Hindi and Telugu movies. He has worked in superhit Hindi movies like Satya, Bandit Queen, Ganga of Wasseypur. He had started his acting career on TV with Doordarshan’s Swabhimaan.
He is very much happy about his debut on small screen from crime based show like Encounter. This show will start from 11th April 2014, FRI-SAT at 9 PM.
