We have seen many bahus over numbers of the years, but now, there’s one with a difference. Sahara One is coming with new serial called Firangi Bahu. This is about a foreigner daughter-in-law girl entering in a traditional Indian home. This firangi Bahu is a young foreigner girl, Camili Jonathan, who gets married in Gujrathi family . This serial set to shoot in Rajkot. The story is about Firangi Bahu getting interest in Indian culture and Indian family.
When asked Sippora Anna Zoutewelle (Camili role in serial) that how did you get this role? She replied, “When I was completing my aerospace engineering, I knew about Bollywood dance and due to my interest I enrolled myself in Dance Academy. While learning someone suggested me to go to Mumbai to learn dance classes from Saroj Khan. I am here in Mumbai from last 3 years and I fell in love with India and that is the only reason I decided to stay here in Mumbai, Sometime back I got some modelling assignment and meanwhile I started learning Hindi on my own. The makers of the show sow me while doing one of the modeling assignment”
Sippora born and bought up in Culemborg, in Holland. She started learning dance from the age of 4 and she knows classic ballet and later zumba, jazz, street and showdance and other dance types. She do watch Bollywood movies and like Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan.
It’s very interesting to see this different Bahu, Firangi Bahu other than ideal Hindi bahu 🙂
