Career : Dilip Joshi is famous Indian actor worked in many movies and TV Serials. He is very much famous for his character Jethalal Champaklal Gadda in Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma. He also worked in many Gujarati dramas. He started his career in 1989 from the super hit film Maine Pyar Kiya. His role in this movie was short but it was noticeable.

Jethalal in Tarak Mehta : Jethalal Champaklal Gadda is a less educated but intelligent businessman. He runs a electronic shop called Gadda Electronics. He is paired with Disha Wakhani (Daya Ben). Their dialogue delivery and true timing is key reason for success of the show. In serial his biggest challenge is controlling Tappu. Bhide who is secretory of the society always comes to Jethalal with new complaint of Tappu. His other challenge in serial is his brother-in-law Sundar and Bapuji. Bapuji always get angry on him whenever he scold Daya or Tappu.
