Personal Life:
Anas aka Sooraj was born in a conservative Muslim family of Melerkotla, Punjab on 31 august 1980. He won Mister Punjab in 2003. He is the eldest son in his family and has two brothers and two sisters. He studied from Urdu medium and then post graduated in psychology. He is also a trained singer.

Career/Reel Life:
Anas Rashid is a famous dramatical actor / Model in Indian telly soap opera. He was first shown in TV as Kangana’s friend in serial “kesar” in 2006. But he started his acting journey from two Balaji Telefilm’s produced TV show “Kahiin to Hoga” as Kartik Ahluwalia and “Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa” both in the year 2006.
In the same year he did a historical serial “dhartika veer yodhaprithvirajchauhan” in star plus network as adult prithviraj that made him very popular. In 2010 he acts as Prince Yashwardhan in “Aise Karo Naa Vidaa”. Now he is working in star plus
network’s most popular television serial “diya aur baati hum” as lead actor Suraj Arun Rathi. One more thing about this serial, it is dubbed in several languages like Tamil, Telgu, Malayalam, Bengali and Urdu and also broadcasted in Srilanka and Romania on their language.
Awards and achievements:
• On the year 2003 he won the title of “Mister Punjab”.
• At Star Parivar Award 2012 , Anas received “The Shining Star Award” for the serial “DiyaAurBaati Hum”
