As per current track, Sandhya is playing Bengali woman for her secret mission and her mission to catch Himannshoo. Himanshoo is rich businessman who is suspected of funding terrorist activities.
Sandhya’s colleague Zakir tols her that whoever tries to catch Himanshoo never returns back. This is very difficult task for Sandhya and she stuck in between family and professionalism.
Amit Dolwant who was last seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is playing character of Himanshoo in the show.
Amit said that his role in the show will be a performance oriented and a strong character. Looks like the Sandhaya-Himanshoo track will be quite interesting for the viewers.
Another character Mohit Raina who got immense popularity in Devon ke Dev Mahadev, has been approached by the makers of Diya Aur Baati Hum to essay the role of a terrorist.
Before Mohit, another popular actor Barun Sobti too was approached for the role but Barun is currently busy shooting for his film.
The makers are trying their best to boost the TRP’s of the show with this new terrorist track as currently the show is suffering a downfall.
