Shritama Mukherjee who is presently seen in Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan is a popular television actress. She is also known to one and all as a well trained classical singer. She shot to spot light with the Sony’s daily serial Dekha ek khwab and later went on to work on many other Indian television serials. She was seen in popular serials like Life OK’s Do Dil Ek Jaan and Kalash – Ek Vishwaas.
Early Career
Shritama Mukherjee was born in the year 1988 on the 3rd of November in Kota of Rajasthan. She completed her schooling from Sophia. She was known to be quite active as a kid and in her young age and has also participated in a number of cultural programs during her school times. She completed her 10th and later moved on to take a career in modelling and in no time she got a good break in Indian television.
Her journey from Kota in Rajasthan to Mumbai was not an easy one. It all started with her participation in the reality show named Antaakshari, after which she made her own contacts from the industry. She took another year moving up and down from Kota to Mumbai and later Antaakshari gave her the much needed break. Later she was signed for serials like Dekha Ek Khwaab where she played a character with grey shades and also as Vinnie in show named Best Friends Forever. It was her love for acting which made her successful with handful of shows.
Personal Life
Not everyone knows that the nick name of Shritama Mukherjee is Shri. She has a younger brother and her father works in Western railways and her mother is a teacher. Her mother is said to be her biggest inspiration.
She states that her all time favourite movie is Andaz Apna Apna and the most romantic movie she loves watching is Aashiqui 2.
When asked about any guy in her life, she always stated that she is very much single and is presently focusing on her career.
Her Film Career
After a number of applauds for her acting in a number of TV shows, she has bagged an offer in a South Indian Film named “Soombe” which means “Sorry”. She is making her debut alongside Rahul who also has this movie has his debut. When asked the actress stated, “Yes it is my first movie. I am happy to do this film and am working hard nowadays. I had already signed for this movie, so I was very clear to take out time for the shoot of the movie. My character in the film is of a Kannadian girl who has come to Bengaluru to shoot for a movie and there she meets a guy named as Rahul and there the love story begins”.
