Star Plus show Diya Aur Bati Hum’s story started with Sandhya’s IPS officer dream. She promised to her father that she would complete his dream. After getting married with Suraj who is halwai in profession, she forgot her dream but Suraj realized her dream and try to complete it. He sacrificed more things for Sandhya’s dream even he lived separately from his family.Finally Suraj got success to complete Sandhya’s dream to become IPS officer. Sandhya went to IPS training for eleven months, at the first day of Academy, Bhabho Kept promise from Sandhya to win Best caded trophy as that would ensure her posting at Pushkar and live with her family.
Sandhya went through many problems in that eleven months but she proved herself as best cadet without changing her principles. She fulfilled her late father’s and in-laws’s dream.
Bhabho was very tensed regarding Sandhya’s posting so she took the help of minister Kavita and gave promise from her that she would give best cadet trophy to Sandhya. Kavita tried that Sandhya would never get this trophy and trapped Bhabho. Sandhya’s trainer and other officers also taught lesson from her that she is never changed her principles to prove herself.
Bhabho and family welcomed Sandhya in very beautiful way. Now she will be seen to play dual role of elder daughter in-law of Rathi family and an IPS officer at Pushkar.
Let’s see how will she complete this two responsibilities simultaneously?
