TV actress Sakshi Tanwar, who got immense popularity with shows like ‘Kahaani Ki Ghar Ghar Ki’ and ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’, has managed to get her big break in Bollywood. News is that Sakshi will now be seen sharing screen space with Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan in the film ‘Dangal’ which is set to release on December 23, 2015.
Apparently, Sakshi was selected after the filmmakers auditioned around 70 actresses for this role. ‘Dangal’ has Aamir Khan playing the role of wrestler Mahavir Phogat while Sakshi would be seen playing his wife.
It is also being said that the actress will have to undergo intense diction training in Haryanvi for her role. In the past, Sakshi was also seen in a prominent role in the controversial film ‘Mohalla Assi’ with Bollywood actor Sunny Deol. But this film stuck in sensing board.
