Rajat Tokas is a Chocolaty star of Indian Television Industries. He made his first debut in Television Industry as junior Artists. On the year 2005 he played the role of Tantya in ‘Sai Baba’. Rajat mostly popular as young Prithiviraj Chauhan in the Historical Telly serial ‘Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithiviraj Chauhan’. Now he is working Ekta kapoor’s Historical project ‘ Jodha Akbar’ on ZEE TV.

Personal Life:

Rajat was born on 19^th July 1991 in Munirka, Delhi. Mr. Ramvir Tokas and Mrs. Pramilla Tokas are his parents. He started his schooling from Hall Foundation School, RK Puram, Delhi. Then he studied by correspondence due to busy schedule of an Actor, he has passed his 12^th with commerce recently. Shortly he got engaged with his girlfriend Shrishti Nayyar. She is also a theatre artist. For Rajat’s successful acting career, his father scarifies lots of problems that he left his job and went along with his son to Mumbai.

Career:

He started his career as junior artists in the show like “Jadui Chirag”, “Light House Of Children”,“Bango”, “Mera Dost”, “Rahul”, “Ek Nazar Ki Tamanna, “Hey Hawain”, “Khoj Khajane Ki” and 0“Abhivyakti. Then he did a show for Sagar art’s “Sai Baba” as Tantya of the year 2005. In the Historical show “Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithivraj Chauhan” made him popular as the role he played young Prithivraj on STAR Plus. In “Dharm Veer”, In 2008 he played the character Veer for Sagar Art’s that was broadcasted on NDTV group. In the role of younger Keshav, he played it for the show “Keshav Pandit” on 2010, same year he did STAR Plus’s “Tere Liye” as Rabindo Ganguly. In the year 2011 he did the show “Bandini” as the role of Krishna. On the ZEE TV’s horror Telly serial “Fear Files”, he did two Episodes, on 23 and 26 September 2012. Now he is working Ekta Kapoor’s very popular Historical drama “Jodha Akbar” as lead on ZEE TV.

Awards and achievements:

On the year 2007, he got two awards from “STAR Parivaar Award” as Favorite chhota Bacha, Favorite Yogya Jodi and two from “ITA Award” as Best child actor, Best actor popularfor the show “Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithiviraj Chauhan” . Recently he got the Best actor in a drama series from STAR Guild Award for the show “Jodha Akabar”.

Jodha Akbar is an impressive historical drama of India on sixteenth centuries of the story of a Mughal Emperor Jalaluddin Mohamud Akbar(rajat Tokas) who married to Rajput princess Jodha Bai(Paridhi Sharma) with political expediency . The Character of his role shows how he is falling in love with begam Jodha and changes his stance by her, for that he ruled India with lots of love and affection .
