Karan Patel is a very well known and versatile television actor in Indian telly industries. His first lead and super-duper hit telly show that beams him as a good, reputed and talented actor was Balaji telefilm’s “kasturi” in star plus. But however his first show was “Kasautii Zindagi Kay” in the year 2005. Recently he is working in “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”.

He was nominated for 8 categories and won 6 in the year 2014 for “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”.

Personal Life:

           Karan was born in kolkota on November 23, 1983.He started his schooling from Utpal Sanghvi School, Mumbai and finished at Mithibai College Mumbai. Then he had joined Kishore Namit Kapoor’s Acting School and London School of Arts. He had also joined Shiamak Davar’s dance classes. Karan close with his father Rashesh Patel who is a Guajarati businessman.

Career/Reel Life:

Karan started his career with Kasautii Zindagi Kay as Karan in the year 2005.Then he did “Kesar” as Ryan in 2005 then “Kkavyanjali” as Kanishk in 2005, in 2006 he came as Vivan in “Karam Apnaa Apnaa”, in 2006-2007 ” Kasamh Se” as Rohit Ranvijay Chopra. In 2007-2009 he continued Kasturi (TV series) as Robbie Sabarwal. In 2012 he worked in Teri Meri Love Stories as Yug Saxena.

He also did some reality shows like “Nach Baliye 3 ”,”Survivor India” in star plus and “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa” (season 6) in colour.

About his Filmy career, he worked in two films “city of gold” in year 2010 and “shootout at wadala” in year 2013 as Naru and Jamal respectively.

Now he is working ekta kapoor’s “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein” as Raman Kumar Om Prakash Bhalla in star plus.

This story stands with Raman Bhalla (Karan Patel) who married to Ishita Iyer(Divyanka Tripathi), and connected by their dramatic love for Raman’s little daughter Ruhi(Ruhanika Dhawan). Raman is a Punjabi where as Ishita is a Tamilian, who is unable to bear children, He marries Ishita, because he gets his daughter Ruhi’s custody. Raman also has an 11 year-old son Aditya(Gautam Ahuja), whose mind is poisoned against Raman by his ex-wife Shagun Arora(Anita Hassanandani )
