Arjit is a young talented actor/model in Indian small screen, one of the perfect combinations of handsomeness and brains. Career: Arjit started his career as a model, so he joined a famous modeling agency named “Elite Model Management India Pvt Ltd”. Then he jumped as a contestant to MTV Splitsvilla (Season 6 – Hot as Hell). In 2006 he did his first debut in television serials “The Serial “ on Channel V. Then he also came on SONY’S most popular show “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain” in a cameo role. Now he is working with Balaji Telefilm’s “ Kumkum Bhagya” as Purab Khanna.
Arjit’s character in KumkumBhagya : In the show “Kumkum Bhagya”, Arjit is playing second lead as the character of Purab Khanna . Purab is the childhood best friend of Abhisek Mehra (Shabir Ahulwalia ) who is the main lead of this show. Purab is in love with Bulbul (Mrunal Thakur) a sister of Pragya, and Pragya is wife of Abhisek Mehra. But in the tragedy of the story, Purab gets engaged before with Abhisek’s sister. The story is to go on with a triangular love story.
